Vanessa Rousso Runs Aces Into Jeff Trudeau's Quads But Gets it Back

According to Vanessa Rousso, just after telling her tablemates that she has a "bluffy face," she picked up aces in the small blind and three-bet after Jeff Trudeau raised on the button. The remaining players folded and Trudeau called.

On the Q-T-5 rainbow flop, Rousso bet out 2,000 and Trudeau called. She bet another 3,000 on the blank turn, and the river was another ten, pairing the board. Rousso elected to check and Trudeau moved all in with Rousso covered.

Rousso told Trudeau, "Not only do I have to fold aces here, I know you have quad tens."

Rousso's read was spot-on, and Trudeau confirmed by showing the pocket tens for quads, also confirming to the table that he was still running hot hot hot.

Rousso was happy that after taking three months off of poker to pursue music, she "still has it." She was also happy that Trudeau doubled her up an orbit later when she had A-K against Trudeau's A-8 on KcKcKc. The turn and river didn't change anything and Trudeau's top pair, top kicker was good for the double up.
