Vanessa Rousso Doubles Up, 18 Left in Flight B


Only 18 players remain in flight B, and Vanessa Rousso just doubled up.

According to players at the table, the cutoff raised to 3,000, Rousso made it 8,000 on the button, and Kevin Grabel four-bet to 16,000 in the big blind. The cutoff folded and Rousso called.

Rousso said she "thought they were playing a friendly pot," but on the 8-7-7 flop, Grabel bet enough to put Rousso to a decision for her remaining 46,000 chips. Rousso made the obvious call with pocket eights, and Grabel was drawing very slim with T-9 for an open-ended straight draw and two overs.

Rousso doubled up, but Grabel remained one of the big stacks.
