Tony March Doubles Through Vanessa Rousso


Just after the last break of the day, Tony March (Seat 3) and Vanessa Rousso mixed it up.

March raised to 3,500 under the gun and Vanessa Rousso called on the button. The big blind came along and it was three ways to the flop of A-8-2 with two diamonds.

The big blind checked, March bet 10,000, and Rousso made it 20,000. The big blind folded and March moved all in for 47,800 total, or 27,800 on top. Rousso called, putting March at risk, and they showed down.

Rousso's pair of aces was in the lead, but the Kc landed on the turn, giving March a set of queens to take the lead. The Kc river improved March to a full house. March, who plays for the Pay It Backward Foundation, doubled up with about one level left of play for the night.

There's a big crowd gathering around the middle table, what say we all go over and see what's taking place. Lucky Loizzo

Dan Loizzo makes it 20,00, then it is Ben Freeman from the SB making it 70,000 to go. Loizzo hesitates, sees with a call both players are going to have equal stacks a bit less than what's going to be in the pot. Yep, pretty good chance the chips get in the middle at some point in the hand if he calls. Loizzo finds a call, then both players check the J-5-3 flop. Freeman moves all in on the 8 turn and Loizzo slips in to the tank, weighing his potions. the dealer counts out the stack, 124,000, and Loizzo looks to be almost exactly the same. He finds the call, sees turn over AK .. and Loizzo shows QJ. The Jack holds and Loizzo has him covered by less than one SB. Freeman finishes 16th, cashing for $2,617. Loizzo moves to 400,000.
