Randy Barton Doubles Through John Racener


The player under the gun raised to 500, Randy Barton called in late position, and John Racener three-bet to 1,600 in the cutoff. The button and blinds folded, the initial raiser called, and Barton called, making it three to the flop.

On the KcKcKc flop, the first player checked, Barton checked, and Racener bet 2,800. The next player folded and Barton moved all in for 11,950. Racener called to put Barton at risk and they showed down.

Barton's pocket sevens for a set was good against the KcKc of Racener. The Kc turn and the Kc river changed nothing and Barton doubled up.

There's a big crowd gathering around the middle table, what say we all go over and see what's taking place. Lucky Loizzo

Dan Loizzo makes it 20,00, then it is Ben Freeman from the SB making it 70,000 to go. Loizzo hesitates, sees with a call both players are going to have equal stacks a bit less than what's going to be in the pot. Yep, pretty good chance the chips get in the middle at some point in the hand if he calls. Loizzo finds a call, then both players check the J-5-3 flop. Freeman moves all in on the 8 turn and Loizzo slips in to the tank, weighing his potions. the dealer counts out the stack, 124,000, and Loizzo looks to be almost exactly the same. He finds the call, sees turn over AK .. and Loizzo shows QJ. The Jack holds and Loizzo has him covered by less than one SB. Freeman finishes 16th, cashing for $2,617. Loizzo moves to 400,000.
