Mark Rose Gets Short and Triples Up

In Flight C, Mark Rose was getting short-stacked, and after a late position raise to 500 to his right, he moved all in for his last 4,525 in the cutoff. The small blind called, and the initial raiser called.

Rose said something about locking up his seat for the sit 'n' go, meaning he was about to be eliminated.

His two opponents checked all the way down on a board of KcKcKcKcKc.

The small blind showed A-Q, the next player had A-K, and Rose tabled his pocket eights to win the pot and triple up. He will have to wait on the sit 'n' go.
