Chipcount Challenge


I can tell this stack totals 86,200 - because I enlarged it and adjusted the color in Photoshop to make the green 25-chips stand out.

Why is this something I'm blogging about?

1) The lighting here is, shall we say, a tad muted, so dark colors tend to blend together from more than a few feet away.
2) I'm somewhat red-green colorblind, making some shades of green appear brown to me.
3) The 25's are green, the 100's brown.

This means - without taking photos of everyone's chipstacks and messing with Photoshop color profiles - I'm waiting until next break in 40 minutes (when the 25's get colored up) to do any running chipcount updates for the Day 1's in this event.

There's a big crowd gathering around the middle table, what say we all go over and see what's taking place. Look, there's a bunch of players with all their stacks in the middle, and most of them are standing up behind their chairs.
