John Schray may be primarily a PLO player, but you'll have a tough time convincing the 170-entry field here in America's Poker Tour $1100 Main Event at Majestic Star Casino in Gary, IN that PLO is his best tournament game. Schray moved to the chiplead midway through Day 2 play, lost the lead when he flopped a set of Fives, only to have two players both turn broadway on him. He worked his way back and with 16 to go it was Schray and Jason Ramos holding 20 percent of all the chips in play. Ramos hit the skids from that point forward and was out in 12th. Starting the final table just a single ante away from the chiplead, Schray stayed strong throughout FT play, finding his way to heads-up play against James Snyder. Schray moved to about a 2.5-1 lead early on, held that lead or better through heads-up play and ended the tournament flush over flush #FTW. Schray earns $43,713 in cash and a $3,000 championship package, along with the 'trophy,' of a pair of Beats Hea
